Firth and Fort Hall
Firth and Fort Hall Assembly of God are two bodies with one heart, sharing life and ministry in the quiet towns of Firth and Fort Hall, Idaho. We are endeavoring to find the right pastor who can help build a bridge between these churches and their distinct communities.
The community of Firth is about small community of over 500 people. Firth A/G is located just 15 miles south of Idaho Falls, Idaho, which boasts a population of over 65,000 people. Idaho is booming, and the population is moving outward from Idaho Falls. Already, much of this rural community is being effected by this change. The church is about 20+ in attendance and has a pastoral parsonage.
Fort Hall A/G is located on the Fort Hall Reservation about a thirty minute drive from Firth. Fort Hall has a population of about 2900 people, with two thirds of the population being Native American. The people are very committed to seeing their church be a light to the community. They also have a parsonage in addition to the church.
The key responsibilities for these churches would be:
Provide visionary leadership for both churches.
Preach the good news, lead worship, and be able to minister to differing cultures and settings.
Shepherd the flock by fulfilling all pastoral responsibilities such as weddings, funerals, hospital visits, etc.
Provide avenues for spiritual growth for church members.
Oversee all ministries of the church.
